To the Editor:

Thanks to Sparrow for his generous review of Stroking the Sparrow's Tail, selected poems by the late Arthur Joseph Kushner [The Book Shelf, 12/04]. I would be remiss, however, if I did not correct the impression that I "fashioned this book" single-handedly, or even had the lead role in doing so. It was Bram Moreinis who conceived the book (and its companion CDs) as a tribute to Arthur, and it was the time, energy, and love that Bram invested, along with his indefatigable fund-raising, that made it happen. The other person essential to the realization of the project was David Perry, who designed the book and oversaw the production of the CDs.
